Sign up for the Self-Employment Social Security Scheme by
SOCSO!
Last year, the Ministry of Human Resources made it
compulsory for all e-hailing drivers to register and contribute to SOCSO (Social Security Organization) also known as
PERKESO. As you may have heard from the media recently, SOCSO intends to
initiate enforcement under the Self-Employment Social Security Act 2017 starting
on 1 August 2019. According to SOCSO, those who fail to
register and contribute to the scheme may be subjected to a fine of between
RM500 and RM4,000.
We value your safety and well-being whilst on the road,
where anything could possibly happen when we least expect it. Hence, we want to
encourage you to register and contribute as it’s always best that you and your
loved ones are covered for the unexpected.

Self-Employment Social Security Scheme if I am a driver-partner who has a
full-time job (where my salary gets deducted for SOCSO)?
